FADE IN… a nervous, bespectacled, 25 year old liquor store worker stands on stage for the first time in a tiny, dark, smoke filled comedy club… (No, it wasn’t on fire, people used to smoke inside back then). That comic, making the most of his BA in history, is Bill Braudis and that’s where his road to teaching script writing, joke writing and preclinical endodontics, begins.

DISSOLVE TO… a decade later. He’s still on stage. But then, after more than a thousand comedy performances, including several appearances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Bill ends up in Los Angeles writing jokes for TV, which eventually leads him…

CUT TO: His home town of Boston as a writer and voice-over actor for a myriad of award winning animated sitcoms such as Dr. Katz: Professional Therapist, Science Court and Home Movies, just to name three of them. Bill also writes for Raising Dad, a live-action sitcom, in the early 2000s and still finds time to write a screenplay that is optioned, another that is a quarter-final finisher in the Nicholl Fellowship Screenwriting Competition, and in 2018 his independent feature Sweeney Killing Sweeney, premieres. And somewhere along the way he gets married, has two daughters, gets a masters degree and begins teaching.
