Undergraduate Graduation Declaration Form

It is a student’s responsibility to know and understand their remaining requirements for graduation. If there is any questions about the remaining requirements, please meet with a COM Undergraduate Affairs Academic Advisor.

• Minimum of 128 units
• No audited classes are counted
• No more than 16 units of D grades can count toward graduation

Effective fall 2021, the College of Communication (COM) will allow up to 4 units of one-unit and/or half-unit Boston
University courses to count towards the 128 units required for graduation.

Overall GPA of at least a 2.0 is required

Overall COM GPA of at least a 2.0 is required (GPA in COM courses only)

If a minor is declared, all minor requirements must be completed meeting any minimum grade requirements for that
program in order to be certified

No OTP courses can count toward graduation

If you are declared as a Dual Degree Program (DDP) student you must satisfy all the requirements outlined in the
Boston University DDP policy, complete all BU Hub general education requirements, and complete all degree
requirements for both schools/colleges
