Big Media dominates much of the conversation around communication, but beyond the conglomerates and social media giants, community radio and television still serve local communities. These nonprofit, often volunteer-powered outlets provide crucial information and tell stories ignored by others — while providing learning opportunities for communicators early in their careers. Our panel will explore the history and future of the community broadcasting movement in this country.
