COM Students Win Big at Area Photo Contest
COM students won 17 of the 24 awards at the annual Boston Press Photographer Association’s annual contest for college photographers.
Andrew Burke-Stevenson won the top honor for “best in show” as well as first place in the news and story categories. He also took home additional awards for news, feature, sports and portraits.
Ziyu (Julian) Zhu earned first place for both feature and portrait, as well additional honors in the news and portrait categories.
Sydney Roth earned her award for news and Madi Hoesler for story.
