A panel of judges prominent in the public relations industry selected Boston University College of Communication as one of five finalists in the category of Outstanding Education Programs for public relations as part of PRWeek’s annual awards.
The magazine will announce the winner, along with those in other categories celebrating the best in the field of public relations, during a ceremony in New York on March 19.
Boston University was the first to offer a university-level degree in public relations, in 1947. In 1974, it created PR Lab, now the longest-running student-run public relations agency.
