COM boasts national finalists in SPJ contest

COM graduates Anupreeta Das and Laura Morgenthau were recognized as national finalists in the Society of Professional Journalists' Mark of Excellence Awards competition. Das earned national recognition in the Magazine Non-Fiction Article category for "The Search for Beautiful." Morgenthau earned national recognition in the Online Opinion/Commentary category. Both Das and Morgenthau took first place in their respective categories in the regional competition.
