Welcome Milano: Italians study at COM

Outside the classroom, our guests are taking full advantage of all the campus, city and region have to offer including trips to Martha’s Vineyard, Niagara Falls, Wrentham Fashion Outlets, a Red Sox game, a Boston Harbor boat cruise, the Freedom Trail, and much more.  As a special treat, the students were able to socialize with members of the Inter Milan and AC Milan soccer teams at a Boston nightclub following their big match at Gillette Stadium, a treat they said they would probably never experience back in Milan.COM is hosting 30 graduate business and communication students from the largest private university in Italy, Univesita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (UCSC), in Milan.  The students are participating in an intensive program where they are studying presentation skills, interactive marketing communication and event planning and promotion.  The exchange program, coordinated by Professor Steve Quigley, features intensive coursework along with visits to Boston PR, advertising, and event planning firms and venues.

A student's perspective: Margherita Monti

I sincerely believe that study experiences abroad are a wonderful opportunity to put at stake and compare one's knowledge. Boston University, in collaboration with the Italian Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Milano, gave us a chance to live an extraordinary summer study of three weeks in Marketing Communication. The awesome Bostonian setting and the  generous helpfulness of our professors made our stay at Boston University an unforgettable experience.  Thanks to Lauren Glaser, Steve Quigley, Tom Fauls and Tobe Berkovitz!

In Italian:

Ritengo senza dubbio che le esperienze di studio all'estero siano

un'opportunità bellissima per mettere in gioco e confrontare le proprie

conoscenze.

Grazie a Lauren Glaser, Steve Quigley, Tom Fauls e Tobe Berkovitz!
