Stuti Das was a Postdoctoral Associate (Sep 2025–Jan 2026) and worked with mentor Deborah Carr (CAS/ Sociology). She is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Epidemiology, University of Texas Medical Branch. She received her PhD in Sociology from Boston University in 2025. Her research examines health disparities between immigrants and native-born populations, and the social, economic, and policy factors that drive these differences. She is particularly interested in what these patterns reveal about broader social inequalities and how they can inform efforts to create a healthier, more equitable society for everyone, regardless of where they are born.
