Liena Strikis

Liena Strikis joined the Shared Services team in Sponsored Programs as a Grants and Finance Administrator in March 2023. She has been supporting the Center for Innovation in Social Sciences since July 2026. Liena provides both pre- and post-award services for faculty associated with CISS. She is the primary contact for Affiliate members in the CISS research portfolio, including affiliated departments such as Economics and Law.

Liena has over 7 years of experience in research administration, with previous work experience at Tufts University. As a Post-Award Financial Specialist at Tufts University, she assisted with management of the Nutrition portfolio, which totaled $309 million. She holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. Prior to her graduate degree, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Paraguay, where she worked on health education projects. She also has previous experience in research, legal, and administrative roles.
