Grants & Finance Administrator
Christopher Chiofolo joined the Center for Innovation in Social Sciences as a Grants and Finance Administrator in August of 2022. Chris supports the research enterprise at CISS, providing pre- and post-award services for faculty associated with the Center. His primary duties include grants consultation, application preparation, and award management.
Chris brings 25 years of experience in higher education to his position, with previous work experience at Suffolk University Law School and Tufts University. He has experience in all major phases of research administration including pre-award, post-award and department administration. His most recent position, prior to joining CISS, was post-award management of a portfolio in excess of $25 million dollars. He is a certified research administrator (CRA) with the research administrators’ governing authority, the Research Administrators Certification Council (RACC).
Chris hosts office hours on Wednesdays from 11:00 am – 11:30 am for graduate students and Wednesdays from 11:30 am – 12:30 for faculty. Click here for a link to join Chris’s office hours.
