Is bias inevitable? Join us for a presentation and discussion on the evolution of anti-gay and anti-trans attitudes over multiple timescales: the last 50 years, the last five years, and the next few decades. Psychological and structural conditions have served as accelerants at some times and barriers at others. Backlash is inevitable. The key question is how to overcome it. The Scholar Series, a signature program of the LGBTQIA+ Center for Faculty & Staff, is a monthly, facilitated virtual space where BU scholars showcase their recent LGBTQIA+ scholarly research. This year’s Scholar Series theme is Meeting This Moment.
