  • Ends: 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025
The Conversation US, a nonprofit national new organization, partners with your university or college to bring academic research and scholarship to the public. We invite you to this gathering of scholars from religious studies, classical studies, philosophy, history, and many other similar fields to learn more about the opportunity of authoring a public-facing article based on your work. Please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues in related fields within your institution who may find this useful. This session will be led by Senior Editor and Director of Global Religion Journalism Initiative Kalpana Jain and Ethics + Religion Editor Molly Jackson. It will include an overview of The Conversation's pitching and writing process, discussion led by editors on their current coverage plans, and opportunity to discuss your scholarship with the editors to begin shaping a pitch idea. You will also learn about the Global Religion Journalism Initiative, a partnership between TCUS, Religion News Service, and the Associated Press, that is led by Senior Editor Kalpana Jain.
