  • Starts: 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025
  • Ends: 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025
Artificial intelligence is transforming every aspect of our lives, raising urgent questions about its implications for ethics, identity, and the health of our political and economic systems. At the same time, AI is opening new frontiers in humanities research—reshaping how we analyze complex texts, uncover historical insights, and approach critical fields like anthropology. At this Research on Tap, faculty from across BU schools and colleges will examine AI’s societal and cultural impacts while highlighting its innovative applications in the humanities, from natural language processing to reasoning machines. Join us to explore how technology and the human experience intersect—and to engage with the researchers shaping our understanding of this evolving relationship.
