2025 NBER Summer Institute: Gender in the Economy Meeting

To promote research on gender issues in the economies of developing and developed nations, as well as historically, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), with the support of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, has formed a Working Group on Gender in the Economy. The Working Group is directed by Jessica Goldberg (University of Maryland and NBER), Claudia Goldin (Harvard University and NBER) and Claudia Olivetti (Dartmouth College and NBER). The Working Group will convene a one and a half day research meeting in Cambridge, Massachusetts on July 22 and 23 as part of the NBER Summer Institute. The meeting will feature approximately ten to twelve research presentations and shorter talks.
