“Choosing a Peer-Review Journal for Your Research” Workshop on February 28.

The Boston-Area Health Scholars (BAHS) group will hold a discussion and workshop on the topic “Choosing a Peer-Review Journal for your Research.” on Tuesday February 28 from 4-5:30 p.m. The session will meet via Zoom at this link. The session is open to students, postdocs, and faculty from any discipline. Panelists Joseph Harris  (CISS and CAS/Sociology), Sara Shostak (Brandeis University), and Deborah Carr (CISS and CAS/Sociology) will provide a brief overview of strategies for identifying potential homes for your research. They will then invite discussion, when attendees can provide an overview of their latest papers, and brainstorm together about finding an appropriate target journal, and framing the paper so that it is appealing to the target journal’s editor, reviewers, and readers.
