Please join us on October 21 at 12:30 for a virtual panel on Community Partnerships: Building Meaningful Partnerships for Broader Impact. The panel features BU experts in community engagement and partnership, along with researchers who have successfully developed and sustained impactful community-based projects. Panelists will share guidelines, strategies and experiences for initiating and maintaining meaningful partnerships. Whether you’re new to community engagement or looking to deepen existing relationships and translate research, this session will offer valuable insights and resources.

- October 22 | 12:00 | Starting Your Proposal Budget – Join Sara Atkinson, Grants Administrator of CAS Earth & Environment, to learn how to build a compliant budget in collaboration with your department administrators. She will share practical tips and resources for addressing important budget elements, such as F&A rates, fringe benefits, stipends, and cost sharing. Register here.
- November 5 | 12:00 | Managing Your Grant – Join Erin Reynolds, Assistant Director at the Center for Space Physics, to learn how to work effectively with Post Award teams to track project status, manage finances, and navigate changes. She will offer insights on meeting sponsor obligations and mitigating any future challenges that may arise. Register here.
- December 3 | 12:00 | Effort Reporting – Join Chris Chiofolo, Sr Grants & Finance Administrator for Center for Innovation in Social Science, to understand the importance of accurately documenting time spent on sponsored projects. He will explain federal effort reporting requirements, how to complete Personnel Activity Reports (PARs), and best practices for compliance. Register here.
