Support CISS in our First Ever BU Giving Day on April 9!
Boston University’s Giving Day — April 9, 2025 – is now in its 11th year. Giving Day raises funds for hundreds of BU programs, initiatives, and causes over 24 hours. What’s new is that CISS is participating for the first time this year! We are very fortunate to be featured by the College of Arts & Sciences as a high priority center.
Please consider making a gift to CISS or asking your friends and family to make a donation. CISS can win bonus funds for engaging the most donors or raising the most dollars, and CAS will receive an additional $10,000 for every 275 donors who make a gift. Click here to make a gift.
Every dollar we receive can help provide financial support for:
- an undergraduate academic year research internship
- an undergraduate social science writing summer internship
- a doctoral student dissertation finishing grant
- a faculty member’s pilot grant or book workshop
- a summer mini-grant for graduate students, postdocs, lecturers or faculty
- other new initiatives to help translate social science research into real-world impacts
Any and all gifts – from $10 to $100 to $1000 — will be critical to sustaining and advancing social science research, training, and practice at BU.
