Please also visit the CISS website for more information on Center grant supports, including our “Ask Chris” column for grant-writing tips from CISS grant administrator Chris Chiofolo. Please also SAVE the date. On November 7, CISS will hold it’s first-ever “Grants Day,” featuring informational panels, ‘speed-dating’ sessions between grant seekers and seasoned grantees, one-on-one consultations with Chris Chiofolo and more.
Please also mark your calendars. On December 11 at 10 am CAS and SOM will co-host Virtual Event: Introduction to Early Career Peer-to-Peer Writing Groups RSVP. Peer-to-Peer Writing groups help junior faculty members to help formulate and write their first grants. In P2P groups, faculty will have a space that encourages honest feedback and assessment from their peers, with the end goal of strengthening grant-writing skills/knowledge and refining their narratives for competitive proposals for public and private grants.
