Announcing ICPSR Biennial Meeting (October 6-8, 2021)

For the first time ever, the ICPSR Biennial meeting is virtual, free, and open to the public. This year’s topic is “Data Positivity: Data Doing Good,” with presentations about data ethics, data in DEI, and examples of how data have impacted specific communities and populations. ICPSR (Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research), located at University of Michigan, is an international consortium of more than 750 academic institutions and research organizations. It provides leadership and training in data access, curation, and methods of analysis for the social science research community. ICPSR maintains a data archive of more than 250,000 files of research in the social and behavioral sciences. It hosts 21 specialized collections of data in education, aging, criminal justice, substance abuse, terrorism, and other fields.
