I received my Ph.D. in Computational Neuroscience from Boston University’s School of Medicine, with a dissertation focused on central auditory processing and selective auditory attention skills in minimally and low verbal children, adolescents, and young adults with autism. My doctoral work also focused on how we can use passive neuroimaging methods to capture brain processing from people who cannot reliably participate in research that requires them to speak or follow complicated spoken directions. Prior to coming to BU, I received my B.S. in Cognitive and Brain Sciences and Child Development from Tufts University and worked for several years at the National Institutes of Health pursuing research on the behavioral and neural subtypes of autism. In my spare time I enjoy being with loved ones, doing anything and everything outdoors!
