I am currently a doctoral student in the Developmental Science program at Boston University. I received my undergraduate degree from UNC at Chapel Hill in psychology, minoring in biology and mathematical decision science. As an undergraduate, I worked in a cognitive psychology lab investigating language processing in adults, and I also worked at TEACCH studying the effects of an intervention therapy on teenagers with autism. After graduation, I completed a two-year research assistantship at the University of Maryland’s Child Development Lab. My research interests include language acquisition and the underlying neural mechanisms in both children with and without autism. At CARE, I am involved with the Infant Sibling Project.
