I am the Lab Manager of CARE where I work on the Predicting and Optimizing Language Outcomes (POLO) project investigating language outcomes in minimally verbal children with autism. I graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2023 with a B.S. in Physiology & Neurobiology and a minor in Psychology. During my time at UConn, I worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Connecticut Autism and Language Lab (CALL) run by Dr. Inge-Marie Eigsti where I assisted on the ASD Long Term Outcomes Study (ALTOS). Additionally, I was awarded the BOLD Women’s Leadership Foundation Scholarship which enabled me to carry out a research project investigating the intersection of autism, eating disorders, and alexithymia under the mentorship of Dr. Amy Gorin. I am passionate about autism research and hope to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. In my free time, I enjoy swimming, baking, and crocheting!
