CARE at the IMFAR 2017 Conference
A number of our faculty, staff, and students attended the annual IMFAR conference, sponsored by the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR). IMFAR 2017 was in San Francisco, California this year. They all discussed CARE’s ongoing work over dinner in San Francisco.
There were numerous presentations and posters at the conference from CARE research. Among others:
From the Infant Sibling/Screen Project: work by Dr. April Levin https://spectrumnews.org/news/brain-wave-patterns-may-flag-babies-autism/
From Meredith Pecukonis, a soon-to-be doctoral student that will be joining CARE in September: https://spectrumnews.org/news/anxious-childrens-head-movement-may-mar-brain-imaging-results/
And Dr. Tager-Flusberg was mentioned by Dr. Vanessa Hus Bal in her daily reflection during IMFAR: https://spectrumnews.org/news/reactions-imfar-2017/
