Quli Cai
Quli Cai had a background in Human Resource Management before being admitted to the Arts Administration at BU. Quli chose to change her major after she visited diverse artistic events like live concerts and visual arts exhibitions and had internships in museums. With all the experiences, she is attracted by different art forms, especially the visual arts, which deliver the ideas of artists with a sense of aesthetics. However, plenty of people do not put much significance on art and cannot nearly admire artistic pieces. Then she had a passion for getting involved in the art industry to promote artworks to the public, leading them to pay attention to art and aesthetics.
The program gives me a whole picture of what nonprofit art is like and impresses me with ideas like DEIA (diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility) that gain little attention in the environment I grew up.
