Jiaying Li
To perpetuate the lives of art masterpieces, to help outstanding artists present their thoughts efficiently and profitably, while leading the general public to find their home in the art world, is Jiaying’s ideal goal.
Jiaying got accounting and finance double bachelor’s degrees in Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU), during which she also spent one year studying in Macquarie University in Sydney as an exchange student majoring in professional accounting. Jiaying started to learn piano since she was five. Jiaying keeps exploration in her life, trying to combine her passion and love for art and business together. Starting from music, she finally chose art as an orientation in her business career.
In 2019, she began to carry out the protection, popularization and promotion of musical intangible cultural heritage. In 2020, she participated in the cultural promotion meeting of the Chinese traditional culture exhibition area of Beijing International Design Week. The exhibition aims to explore the modern expression of Chinese traditional culture. In 2021, she joined the OMNI SPACE team in Beijing, and worked as a performance organizer and band & artist manager for two years.
Furthering her study in Boston University Art Administration program, Jiaying now has strong interests on the art consulting, arts and tourism & hospitality, as well as the exploitation of the economic value of intellectual property.
Boston University has strong relationships with various Boston arts organizations, as well as Broadway. Therefore, this program is a great choice for people who what to develop their career in Boston and Broadway. Fundraising and grant writing, as well as the administrative study of performing arts are the strength of this program. This project keeps pace with the times closely. Recently, they started to emphasize the study of technological renovation and commercial development in the art industry.
