Yu-San Chang is a graduate student in Arts Administration program at Boston University. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. After graduating, she worked at Dell Taiwan Design Center as a Finance Assistant Intern for six months, where she accumulated valuable finance management practical experience. However, she loved music so much that she joined Opus Music Arts to work as an Assistant Manager, primarily responsible for assisting with the arrangements and preparations for professional performances, such as applying for and arranging venues, writing proposal for government grants, promoting performances, and assisting with everything on stage and backstage. On her days off, she likes to attend concerts, performances, and fine arts exhibitions.

Yu-San Chang is now studying at Boston University and integrating her previous studies and private sector practical experience with her newly acquired arts administration expertise.

“Arts Administration program gives me an understanding of management, legal issues, marketing, financial management, and fundraising for arts service organisations. It helps me become grounded in the relevant foundational concepts and strengthen my professional ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical situations.”
