Rutian Wang is from Beijing, China and currently residing in Boston, United States. Throughout her life, she has had a great interest in theatre and that has influenced her education specialization since high school.

She is graduated from the Boston University Graduate Program in Arts Administration in January 2019. She graduated from University of Rochester in 2017 where she majored in English with a concentration in theater. During her undergraduate studies she was able to make contacts with great mentors and motivators in the line of theatre.

Her interests in the field of theatre have also been rewarded through the theatrical roles held in the course of her studies. For example, while at the University of Rochester, she had participated as the Assistant Stage Manager in When you Ccomin back Red Ryder in the year 2016. Among the other productions in which she has participated are the Yerma, Under The Milkwood, and The Taming of the Shrew. In addition, she has been privileged to work in various other capacities in the theater through the years, which she is appreciative for due to the opportunities that she has had to serve in the theatrical productions in her school.

It is only through the study of fine arts that I will be able to explore all my ambitions to produce first class theatre productions. I am aware that it would require extreme hard work and considerable patience for me to become one of the best in the theatre industry after graduation from. I am prepared for all the challenges that I might come across in the course of this academic journey. From the onset of my career, I have had various challenges. However, I believe great things always come with a lot of sacrifices, and I am ready to throw everything towards achieving the dream of becoming one of the best arts administrators.
