Liz Mazar Phillips (’06)

Liz Mazar Phillips (MET’06) is business manager at the Boston University College of Fine Arts School of Theatre, and managing director of the Boston Center for American Performance.

She previously held roles in company and production management with the Olney Theatre Center (Maryland) and Arkansas Repertory Theatre. In 2007, Liz represented the School of Theatre as a member of the Boston Gulag Project planning committee. She has consulted for the Somerville Arts Council and previously served on the Boston Darwin Bicentennial Committee. In 2008, she became the founding managing director for the Boston Center for American Performance (BCAP), the professional extension of the BU School of Theatre.

Liz has a BA in Theatre from Lyon College, and an MS in Arts Administration from Boston University. She lives in Framingham with her husband, Matt, and their two children.
