When looking at graduate programs, I wanted to be where several opportunities in the arts existed. Boston is a city steeped in history and culture, and I was excited to learn from the Boston arts community both in the classroom at Boston University and in the field. Classes such as Arts Leadership in Times of Crises, Financial Management for Nonprofits, and Marketing and Audience Development for the Arts equipped me with knowledge and skills that I believe will continue to benefit me as I advance in my career.
