As an undergraduate studying acting, I was determined that my career was not on the stage, but off the stage. I wanted to create something beyond the artistic level. My ideal goal is to use visual arts or public arts to raise awareness of protecting the environment and the earth. You can become a noble artist by studying pure art, but for me learning Arts Administration made me see art as a vehicle for other possibilities. Currently, in the Arts Administration program is helping me hone my skills towards, building a fundamental understanding of a confident arts manager. In the era of the experience economy, I believe more fascinating and diverse art forms will gain recognition and influence. And that is what I wish to be a part of.
Besides academics, I am a nature explorer, a dog lover, a gastronome, and a peace lover. I believe in treating everything with an inclusive attitude and have an open heart to learn anything that comes my way.
Studying arts management has given me a new perspective on the arts career, where inclusion, diversity, and equity in the arts are discussed, concepts I never had when I studied performance as an undergraduate.
