Kati Nalbandian (’22)
Kati is enrolled in the Master of Science in Arts Administration program at Boston University with an additional certificate in Fundraising Management; she earned her B.A. in Theatre Performance with a minor in Public Relations from Salem State University.
Absorbing the arts world on the vibrant North Shore of Massachusetts led her to contribute her skills in communications and events management to local organizations in Salem, MA and throughout Greater Boston. Kati recognized the need for supporting artists and their organizations and advocating for their resources. For 5 years she helped Salem-based Creative Collective LLC grow toward their current success in support roles and growing as their Marketing Director. This role led her to pursue further education in Arts Administration.
With interests throughout the arts, Kati is currently working in administrative roles for both Visual Arts and Performing Arts organizations. She is a multi disciplinary artist who enjoys playing music and dancing, collaging and painting. As an arts administrator, Kati hopes to encourage arts entrepreneurship and reinforce the importance of arts and culture in our everyday life and in our communities.
As it came highly recommended to me, Boston University’s Arts Administration program has already shown me new possibilities and skills. Gaining further knowledge and supporting students’ professional networks is engrained in this academic program. Students are able to focus on their known paths, or discover new opportunities through the course offerings. I am looking forward to continuing to learn.
