Jeremy Sarna (’22)
Jeremy Sarna is a professional audio engineer with over 20 years experience, specializing in classical, jazz and world music.
After completing a BA in Philosophy at Clark University, Jeremy pivoted to the music industry. Since 2000, he has worked as a staff engineer at New England Conservatory in Boston, helping to support hundreds of concerts and recitals each year, as well as recording sessions with faculty, students, and alumni. Recent projects include albums by the Borromeo String Quartet, and pianists Bruce Brubaker and Anthony Coleman. In 2020, Jeremy began preparing for his next pivot by entering the Arts Administration program at Boston University.
Jeremy is a Voting Member of the Recording Academy, and an Associate Member of the Audio Engineering Society.
After experiencing the production side of the performing arts industry for many years, I’m excited to come to BU and begin learning about the arts from a broader perspective. I hope to come away with a greater understanding of how arts organizations function, adapt, and create.
