Jacqueline DeFrancesco (’17)
Jacqueline is currently a Master’s candidate at Boston University with experience in corporate business as well as the nonprofit arts space. Her educational background is in sociology. She focused her undergraduate research on executive women in business and the implications of emotional intelligence and empowerment on their success. She is passionate about providing excellent customer service to any team she supports and strives to bring energy and enthusiasm to the workplace. While pursuing a career in business, she has gained experience in customer-centric roles within marketing as well as human resources. These experiences have given her a unique cross-sectional foundation of skills, which enable her to support activities from the life cycle of a marketing campaign to the on-boarding of new employees.
Aside from her corporate work, she continues to pursue her love of the arts and modern and ballet dance. She is passionate about supporting others and contributing to her work environment in the most positive and productive manner. Her goal is to continue to build a corporate as well as nonprofit resume as she has a drive to contribute to both spaces. Jacqueline brings a unique combination of artistic and corporate experience, which provides a fresh perspective and an ability to solve problems creatively.
The BU Masters in Arts Administration has opened my eyes to all the possibilities within the art world. I discovered my passion for fundraising and philanthropy through my course work at BU and look forward to using my degree to further my career.
