Huixuan Liu (’19)

Huixuan Liu graduated from Renmin University of China with a B.A. in Human Resources Management. From her undergraduate studies, Huixuan gained practical knowledge about business and organizational management. Huixuan became interested in the art world very young as her father is a painter, and has since developed her own interest in photography. Huixuan took advantage of opportunities to go to many exhibitions and art events in Beijing and enjoyed being exposed to the abundant resources that art has to offer. She has completed internships in different art organizations, specifically interning at Today Art Museum in Beijing as a program manager assistant, at the Department of 21st-century Art at China Guardian Auction House, and at Pace Gallery Beijing during the summer of 2017. Huixuan Liu is interested in both the for-profit and non-profit sides of the art world, and hopes to gain a more in-depth understanding of the field to contribute to the future development of the Chinese art industry.

This program provides me with the opportunity to meet creative minds from all over the world, and understand the art world from an international perspective. It also provides abundant resources for us to utilize, which will be helpful during and after the program.
