She used to work as a sales manager in Nancy’s Gallery, a 10-year-old contemporary art company in Shanghai. She worked on the issues with marketing and client services while also supervised new employees training. Haihong has now graduated from the Arts Administration Master’s program at Boston University. Passionate in contemporary art and museum education, she plans to use her skills from the Arts Administration program to facilitate models for international collaborations and develop education programs for Chinese museums.
The program provided both theoretical knowledge and practical chances of interacting with arts organizations in the real world. The diversity of classmate experiences opened up one’s mind and its comprehensive courses offered me the chance to rediscover my interest and passion in art education.
