Cara Bergantino (’20) is the poster child of “See-it, believe-it, achieve-it.” When she came to BU, Bergantino said:

It is a very exciting opportunity to pursue a degree in Arts Administration at Boston University. Through this degree program, I hope to combine my two passions: music education and the administration of a summer arts organization. I am very much looking forward to exploring all that BU has to offer and greatly expanding my skills.

That’s exactly what she did. Bergatino is currently the full-time camp director of Camp Enocre/Coda – a summer music camp where she spent 15 summers before coming to BU, starting as a camper and working her way up to assistant director.

Bergantino completed her undergraduate studies at New York University, where she earned a B.M. in Music Education with a concentration in Viola Performance. After graduating in 2012, Cara taught music in the NYC Public Schools for two years, before moving to Boston and working as a private teacher and a part-time teacher in the Belmont Public Schools and Newton Public Schools.
