Alumni Spotlight Interview

Brendon Mason is a Development Associate at the Robin Hood Foundation in New York City.  Prior to joining Robin Hood, Brendon worked at the Boston Foundation managing the Civic Leadership Fund and two community grant making funds. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia in Music and Economics in 2009. Brendon loves pizza, live music and 75 degree days (w/ a nice breeze).

The Arts Administration program really set me up for success in my career. My first job after the program came from a connection that I made with a speaker after a class and so many of the people in the arts in Boston are either alums of this program or are pursuing their masters at BU. I find myself putting the things that I learned into practice in my day-to-day and definitely grateful for my time spent in the program.
