Jingyuan Huang
Jingyuan Huang is a dynamic and accomplished artist, screenwriter, director, and actress with a diverse background in film, theatre, and arts management. She is the founder of Summertime Film Studio, where she leads her team in creating impactful, innovative works. Jingyuan’s filmography includes a critically acclaimed documentary that earned her the Los Angeles Film Community Award for Best Documentary Director and a nomination for Best Documentary at the Montreal Film Festival. Her passion for storytelling extends into her theatrical work. She has performed in various productions at UC Berkeley’s Drama Club. She is committed to promoting cross-cultural dialogue through art and has a strong interest in cultural curation, performance creation, and developing immersive arts experiences that challenge societal norms. With a deep interest in human perception and an intuitive connection to spiritual and artistic expression, Jingyuan’s work continues to inspire and provoke thoughtful engagement with the world around her. In addition to her creative work, Jingyuan is dedicated to arts management, currently pursuing a master’s degree in arts management, and is actively involved in nonprofit financial analysis and curatorial projects.
The Art Administration program has been a transformative experience for me, combining my passion for the arts with practical management skills. It has equipped me with a deep understanding of curatorial practices, cultural programming, and nonprofit leadership, all of which have strengthened my ability to contribute meaningfully to the arts community. This program has been essential in shaping my career path and giving me the tools to make a lasting impact in the arts industry.
