Herbert Jones, MFA

Herbert S. Jones joined the staff of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, over twenty years ago and has progressed from Retail Operations to Human Resources to External Relations where he currently manages the volunteer and intern programs. In each of his roles, Herbert established excellent lines of communications and developed internal and external collaborations while balancing organizational principles with external and internal constituent satisfaction.  The breadth of roles he has fulfilled have provided Herbert with an unusually broad understanding of the inter-workings and cultural issues of a variety of art institutions. This knowledge that has served him well as he continues to attract, recruit, and engage new volunteers – and especially interns – in his ongoing work of the MFA.

Herbert holds a B.S. degree in economics from Northeastern University; and a M.S. in Arts Administration from Boston University.
