Origins 2025

Boston University’s Dance Theatre Group is pleased to present ORIGINS 2025, a Fall Dance Concert, on November 21st at 8 PM and 22nd at 3:30 PM and 8 PM. This production showcases a wide variety of original works by student choreographers and will take place in Boston University’s Dance Theatre.

Highlighting the talent and creativity of BU students, ORIGINS 2025 will include:

• Student-choreographed pieces, mentored by dance faculty William McLaughlin, Ann Brown Allen, and Yo-EL Cassel
• Large group and small group performances
• A variety of music and styles
• Diverse dances, ranging from traditional to experimental, abstract to thematic, and light-hearted to contemplative

ORIGINS 2025 will be happening at Boston University’s Dance Theatre, located at 915 Commonwealth Avenue. It is a 223-seat studio theater space designed specifically for dance performances, classes, and special events.

Dance Theatre Group’s fall concert is presented in cooperation with the CFA, Department of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance and partially funded by the Undergraduate Student Fee.

TICKETS: Admission to ORIGINS 2024 is $20 for the general public, $15 for students, and $12 for all members of the BU community with ID.
