The Boston Camerata is a distinguished institution in the realm of European and American early music ensembles, on the brink of celebrating its 70th anniversary season. Rooted in rich history and dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence, the Boston Camerata is seeking interns to play a vital role in our preparations for this significant milestone.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Boston Camerata is currently offering the Archive and Data Management internship position to span the full fall semester of 2024 with an option early begin from the summer. This internship requires a commitment of 4 hours per week at office located on Tremont Street, with the flexibility for remote work as well. Interns will have the opportunity to earn college credit while contributing to exciting projects.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Interns will be involved in a range of tasks, including but not limited to):
- Primary responsibility would be digitizing sheet music, CD liner notes, and other historical documents.
- Organizing and cleaning up data
- Possible help with development, marketing, and public relations during the 70th anniversary season.
- Possible assistance with rehearsals and concerts, as available.
