Internship: Development, Marketing and Data Management

The Boston Camerata are seeking interns for Spring 2024 to play a vital role in our preparations for a significant milestone, our 70th anniversary in the 2024-2025 season.

A distinguished institution in the realm of European and American early music ensembles, The Boston Camerata, located in 138 Tremont St, Boston, MA 02111, in Suffolk County, is on the brink of celebrating its 70th anniversary season. Rooted in rich history and dedicated to the pursuit of musical excellence, we are seeking interns to play a vital role in our preparations for this significant milestone. 

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently offering two internship positions, both to span the full spring semester of 2024 with an option for extension through the summer. These roles require a commitment of 4 hours per week at our office located on Tremont Street, with the flexibility for remote work as well. Interns will have the opportunity to earn college credit while contributing to our exciting projects. The available positions are in Development and Marketing as well as Archive and Data Management.

    • Key Responsibilities: Interns will be involved in a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
      • Digitizing sheet music, CD liner notes, and other historical documents
      • Assisting with marketing initiatives for our 70th anniversary season
      • Supporting development and grant writing efforts
      • Organizing and cleaning up data
      • Possible assistance with rehearsals and concerts
