MFA Lunar New Year Event

The Museum of Fine Arts is hosting a “Lunar New Year Celebration” community day, with activities, demonstrations, and performances throughout the day.

The MFA “Lunar New Year Celebration” community day is an event free-of-admission. This event will take place on Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm. Activities include, tours and spotlight talks highlighting works of art in the Art of Asia galleries, a variety of music and dance performances throughout the museum, presentations and demonstrations of Chinese and Vietnamese martial arts, and hands-on art-making activities. This will be the kick-off event for Spring 2019 by Arts Administration Students Association (AASA). AASA will gather at the Sharf Visitor Center at 12 pm.
