Lines of Motion
Join A Far Cry at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum on Sunday, December 2, for their return to the Sunday Concert Series, Lines of Motion.
Motion, even implied motion, gives context and meaning to the way we perceive the events around us. This program embraces the many ways that motion can transform music; from the restless kinetic energy of the Bacewicz and the Montgomery, to the axis of motion and stillness explored in the Moravec. Grieg’s Quartet approaches the idea of motion in a different way, through a subtle transformation of motives over time.
