Training Days by Obama Foundation

The Obama Foundation Training Days was launched to energize young people—particularly those who are not yet engaged in civic life—and help kickstart their work to make a positive difference in their community. The first pilot training was held in Chicago with 150 participants, ages 18 to 24. These young people joined the Obama Foundation team to learn how to use their own story as a powerful tool for change and what concrete, simple steps they can take to organize around the issues they care about. The program is partnering with diverse organizations—from universities to churches to opportunity youth organizations—to design and lead each training.
Obama Foundation is hosting a series of Training Days across the country to teach young people how to put civics into action where they live.
