The supply chain management (SCM) capstone course in Spring 2022 included four projects and 23 students. These projects are required in the course AD 804, which combines online and on-campus students who work in teams to solve real-world problems. The following projects were completed:
- Development of a capacity planning system for the global network of research labs (Henkel Corporation);
- Creation of a logistics planning system for new products (Watts Water Technologies);
- Development of a framework for evaluate global supply chain risks (Dicerna Pharmaceuticals), and
- Proposal for an expert network knowledge sharing system (Henkel Corporation).
The projects were supervised by Prof. John Maleyeff, with oversight by SCM coordinator Canan Gunes Corlu. SCM capstone projects are completed every Fall and Spring semester. If your firm is interested in participating by providing us with an upcoming project, please contact Dr. Corlu (canan@bu.edu).
