Finance and Economics affect various aspects of your life, regardless of whether you are an expert in the field or just a curious learner. The Financial Management program offers diverse possibilities for obtaining solid general finance knowledge or specializing in international finance, investment management, or quantitative financial analysis. Our curriculum is constantly improving to meet current financial industry demands for contemporary skills and to prepare our graduates for the highly competitive financial services environment.

MET Financial Management Program is a member of the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program, and this affiliation makes it possible for students to receive a scholarship for the CFA Exam Registration Fees for both June and December exams and for all three levels, I, II, and III. 

MS Program Structure (40-credits) includes 4 Core Course, 4 Concentration Courses, 2 Elective Courses. The program’s options include MS in Financial Management  (general concentration), MS in Financial Management with Concertation in Investment Analysis, MS in Financial Management with Concertation in International FinanceCertificate Structure (16-credits) includes Certificates in Financial Management, Investment Analysis, and International Finance.  

As a student in the MS in Financial Management program, you are entitled to a Curricular Practical Training (CPT), a type of employment/internship authorization that is offered to qualifying international students in F-1 status. CPT may be granted to a student’s program of study that is directly related to a student’s major field after completing 2 consecutive full-time semesters of study in the program. 

The nuances, challenges, and opportunities within global finance require skilled leaders who can master evolving technologies and management techniques. The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicts faster-than-average job growth for financial analysts and continued growth for the business and financial occupation. More specifically, there is a 7% expected increase in financial manager jobs, financial analyst jobs are expected to increase by 12%, and financial examiners jobs should increase by 10% through 2024 according to the BLS.
