Undergraduate

Students may declare a concentration at any time—and must declare a concentration and intended graduation date no later than March 1 of their junior year—by completing the Concentration, Minor, and Graduation Form. Students may also use this form to declare, change, or drop a minor or concentration, or change their intended graduation date. Declaration of a concentration places students on email lists for events or information relevant to the concentration, though students should only declare concentrations they intend to complete.

Graduate

Residential MBA students have the opportunity to join the Social Impact program or Health Sector Management program either through the application process or by working with their academic advisor and the relevant program faculty director to submit a program change request form. Subject to approval by the faculty director, students’ program of study will be updated to the relevant major. Students may additionally declare a major in Management Science through the application process or by working with their academic advisor to submit a program change request form. For specific requirements of these majors and programs, students should refer to the Full-Time MBA or Part-Time MBA Bulletin pages, respectively. Students who do not join the Social Impact program, the Health Sector Management program, or declare a major in Management Science will earn their MBA in Business Administration & Management.

Students can choose to receive an MSBA concentration by taking three or more electives in a designated area. Students can declare their concentration in the fall (before the course registrations open for spring, deadline to be announced). Doing so will give them priority access to electives required for the concentration if demand exceeds available seats. Students will get a second opportunity to declare a concentration before registration opens for fall courses. Students can change their concentration election, but in case of limited seats in a course, priority will be given to those who declared a concentration earlier.
