Overview	To protect your computer from viruses and other malware, you can use anti-virus and anti-spyware software, make sure your auto-update and firewall settings are properly configured, and develop a general awareness of how to keep your computer safe. IS&T helps by providing site-licensed software, instructions for choosing safe settings on your computer, and assistance with virus detection and removal.
