I have been a member of the Residence Life team at BU since 2005. My service has included time at Myles Standish Hall (pre-renovation), Warren Towers, and currently in the Upper Bay State Road neighborhood. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with hundreds of graduate and undergraduates, traveled on more than a dozen ASB trips, worked/lived on campus through a global pandemic, and celebrated with students at every commencement ceremony since 2006. I hope you enjoy your BU journey as much as I’m enjoying mine.

My name Aysia Thomas and I am originally from Boston (Roxbury), MA. Through my undergraduate experience at the University of New Hampshire I managed to receive a B.A in communication and a minor in kinesiology.  I developed a passion for student affair services and creating . The rewards of this work propelled me to enroll in a master’s degree program at the University of Rhode Island. I am excited to be back home in Boston where I can live out my dream of being part of the BU community and explore the city!!

Hello everyone, my name is Greg Aguilar and I am excited to oversee the community at 33 Harry Agganis Way! I am originally from California where I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelors in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology. I came out to the East Coast to complete my Masters in Higher Education from Boston College. In my free time you will find me baking, gaming, or walking my Corgi/Elkhound, Moosh (if you see us, feel free to say “hi” – he loves attention!)

What I enjoy most about working in Residence Life is seeing the personal growth that happens during these early college years. The person you start off as on your first day of freshman year and the person you will be when you leave these halls with your degree in-hand are so vastly different. It’s amazing to see that transformation take place.
